Before you do, you need to check your qualifications and decide which programme is right for you.
Check your qualifications
You will need a degree (class 3 or above) and a grade 4/C or above in GCSE English, Maths & Science. If you don’t have one (or more) of those GCSEs, contact us to find out about equivalency tests. Contact us too if you aren’t sure about your degree classification.
Choose your programme
Think about which age-range appeals to you most – Early Years and Key Stage 1 (our 3-7 programme) or Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (our 5-11 programme).
What happens next?
Once you have submitted your application, this will be sent to us for review. We aim to shortlist within 5-7 working days. Once shortlisting has taken place, you will be notified as to whether you have secured an interview with us.
Our interviews are held in person in one of our trust schools – shortlisted applicants will be offered the next available interview date(s) and venue(s). Our interviews include time in class – followed by a reflective task – and a short presentation and interview. Interviewees will be notified of the outcome of their interview as quickly as possible, and certainly within two working days.
Successful candidates will then go though our pre-course checks (references, DBS, fitness to teach, qualifications confirmation and right to work in the UK)
